Do Schools Kill Creativity

I personally cant say that schools kill creativity, but I don't think today's school systems help anybody be creative. It is not to often in public schools a student is asked to think outside the box. Everyone is required to take math, english, and history classes to a preset level to graduate. Not everyone is good at these three basic subjects. It is ok to assume that those people are good at something else in life. Like the story Sir Kin told of the little girl in the thirties who did poorly in school but turned out to be a great dancer who went on to choreograph the Broadway play Cats. There is something out there for everybody they just have to have the opportunity to find it

It's funny too that a lot of the people who were not good in school turn out to be superstars. They were able to use their natural born creativity.
